Cedar Rapids, Iowa – December 10, 2015
As announced in July, Apache Inc. has opened their new production and distribution facility in Dallas, Texas.
The new location offers both heavy duty and lightweight belting, as well as hose products. Operations Manager, David Walljasper, has been with the company since 2012 and relocated to oversee the new location.
Inventory and capabilities continue to expand based on customer needs in the service area for the location. Currently belts can be cut to custom lengths and widths and laced, as well and some lightweight belt fabrication. Hoses can also be cut and coupled onsite.
“Apache is extremely excited to have expanded into this area, as it offers immediate benefits to our customers in the Southern states,” said Gregg Hanson, Director of Industrial Sales. “We’ve had the opportunity to have some of those in the immediate area stop in to see the new facility and capabilities that we have in place, and the response has been huge.”
In recent years Apache has made numerous steps to expand their geographic footprint beyond the Midwest, with enhanced logistics and better service to customers as their goal. The company is also currently working on the final stages of a 90,000 square foot expansion to their primary distribution and fabrication facility in Cedar Rapids.
Apache Inc. is the national market leader in fabricated belting and hose products, as well as cut and molded rubber, with locations throughout the United States. A 100% employee-owned company, Apache sells worldwide through distributors, retailers, and OEM partnerships.
